Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how LoanRival ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with this website and our business-funding inquiry service. Please read it carefully. By using this website, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. This Policy applies to information collected through this website; it does not cover information collected offline or by third-party websites we do not control.
1. Information We Collect
Information you voluntarily submit through forms
When you submit our funding inquiry form or contact form, you provide information directly to us. Depending on the form, this may include:
- Your first and last name
- Business name, industry, and state
- Business email address
- Mobile phone number and telephone number
- Requested funding amount, time in business, estimated monthly business revenue, and intended use of funds
- Any comments or messages you choose to include
Our initial inquiry form does not request Social Security numbers, banking passwords, full bank-account numbers, or tax-identification numbers.
Business and contact information
The information above is collected so that we can respond to your business-funding inquiry, understand your business's general profile, and communicate with you about your request.
Telephone and mobile information
If you provide a mobile phone number, we treat it as mobile information subject to the protections described in Section 3 below. If you check either or both of the separate, optional consent boxes on the funding inquiry form — one for marketing text messages, one for telephone calls — we record each consent status independently, together with the version of the consent disclosure shown to you and a client-side timestamp of your submission.
Form and technical data
Our forms are processed by our website hosting provider (Netlify). Form submissions include the fields you complete, separate consent-status values for marketing text messages and for telephone calls ("opted_in" or "not_opted_in" for each), the consent-disclosure version identifier, and a client-side submission timestamp. Our hosting provider may also collect standard technical log data (such as IP addresses and request metadata) in the ordinary course of operating the website infrastructure. We do not use client-side analytics or advertising trackers on this website.
2. How We Use Information
Responding to funding inquiries
- To review your funding inquiry and evaluate whether options may be available for your business
- To contact you about your inquiry using the contact information you provided
- To answer questions submitted through the contact form
Communications
- Inquiry follow-up: we may respond to your inquiry at the email address or telephone number you provided.
- Marketing text messages: sent only if you checked the separate, optional SMS marketing consent box. Marketing telephone calls: made only if you checked the separate, optional telephone consent box. Neither consent is required to submit an inquiry, and each may be revoked independently at any time (see Sections 8 and 9).
Operations and compliance
- To operate, secure, and improve this website
- To maintain records of consent and opt-out requests
- To comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests
3. Mobile Information and Text-Message Consent Data
Mobile information will not be shared, sold, rented, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except vendors that provide messaging, communications, hosting, security, or related operational services on behalf of LoanRival and that are contractually restricted from using the information for their own marketing.
This restriction applies notwithstanding anything else in this Privacy Policy. No other section of this Policy authorizes the sharing, sale, rental, or disclosure of mobile information or text-message opt-in data for marketing or promotional purposes.
4. Sharing With Service Providers and Financing Providers
We use service providers that perform operational functions on our behalf, such as website hosting, form processing, messaging and communications delivery, and security. These providers are permitted to use information only to perform services for us and are contractually restricted from using mobile information and text-message opt-in data for their own marketing, consistent with Section 3.
LoanRival funds certain transactions directly and arranges others through third-party financing providers. If your inquiry is being evaluated for potential funding options offered by third-party financing providers, the non-mobile business information you submit (such as your business name, requested amount, revenue range, and intended use of funds) may be provided to those financing providers for the purpose of evaluating and discussing your inquiry. Any such sharing remains subject to the mobile-information restriction in Section 3.
We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights, users, or the public, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to Section 3.
5. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain inquiry information, consent records, and opt-out records for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, maintain required business records, demonstrate consent or revocation, and comply with legal obligations. Opt-out records may be retained indefinitely to ensure your opt-out preference continues to be honored.
7. Cookies and Analytics
This website does not load analytics or advertising trackers, and does not set nonessential cookies. Our hosting infrastructure may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms to serve the site. If we later add analytics or nonessential cookies, we will update this Policy and add an appropriate cookie notice before doing so.
8. Your Choices — Text Messages
- Opting in: marketing text-message consent is given only by checking the separate, optional, unchecked SMS marketing consent box on our funding inquiry form; telephone-call consent is given only by checking its own separate, optional, unchecked box. Neither consent is a condition of applying, purchasing, or receiving services.
- Opting out: reply STOP to any text message from LoanRival to stop receiving text messages.
- Help: reply HELP to any text message, or contact us through the contact form on our website.
- Revocation: you may revoke consent at any time by replying STOP or by contacting us using the information in Section 13. Revocation will be honored within a reasonable time as required by applicable law.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
9. Your Choices — Telephone Calls
- Marketing calls, including calls using automated dialing technology, prerecorded or artificial voice, or AI-generated voice technology, are made only to individuals who checked the separate, optional telephone-consent box — independent of any text-message consent.
- You may revoke call consent at any time by telling a representative during a call, or by contacting us through the contact form on our website and requesting to be placed on our internal do-not-call list.
- We honor internal do-not-call requests as required by applicable law.
10. Children's Privacy
This website is intended for business owners and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us using Section 13 and we will delete it.
11. State-Specific Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights under state privacy laws, which can include the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request deletion or correction, and the right to opt out of certain sharing. Whether a particular state statute applies to LoanRival depends on factors such as revenue, data volume, and the business-to-business nature of the information collected.
To submit a privacy request, contact us using the information in Section 13. We will respond as required by applicable law.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected on this page, and continued use of the website after changes take effect constitutes acknowledgment of the revised Policy.
